General

6 questions
1. What does a standard cleaning include?

Kitchen surfaces and sink, all bathrooms cleaned and sanitized, dusting throughout, mirrors and glass, beds made, every floor vacuumed and mopped, and trash emptied. Baseboards, ceiling fans, window sills, and cabinet fronts rotate through so nothing goes untouched over time.

The services page has the full room-by-room checklist for each service.

2. What services do you offer?

Four:

  • Initial deep clean — the full reset most homes start with
  • Recurring cleaning — weekly, biweekly, or monthly
  • Move in / move out — empty-home cleaning to a landlord's standard
  • Dedicated home helper — hourly, for cleaning plus laundry, organizing, and errands
3. What's the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?

A deep clean goes after accumulated build-up — grout, baseboards, vent covers, inside the microwave, the tops of door frames, behind the toilet. It takes a crew and a few hours.

A regular clean maintains what the deep clean established. It's faster and cheaper because the hard part is already done.

4. Why does the first cleaning cost more?

Because it's doing more work. Bringing a home to a maintainable baseline takes significantly more time than holding it there. Once that baseline exists, every visit afterward is faster — and you pay your recurring rate, not the deep clean rate.

5. How long does a cleaning take?

A recurring visit on an average Peninsula home runs about two to three hours with a crew. An initial deep clean on the same home is usually four to six. Move-out cleans vary most, because an empty house means every cabinet and closet is in scope.

We'll give you a time estimate when we confirm your booking.

6. Are you the same company as Zentra Facility Solutions?

Yes. Zentra Facility Solutions handles commercial work — offices, medical suites, government buildings. Zentra Home is the residential side. Same ownership, same training, same quality inspection process.

Pricing & payment

6 questions
1. How is the price determined?

Square footage sets the base, then bedroom and bathroom count adjust it — bathrooms are the single biggest driver of how long a home takes. Service type sets the rate, and any add-ons get added on top. Recurring plans apply a discount automatically — 15% weekly, 10% biweekly, 5% monthly.

The quote form shows you the number in about a minute.

2. Is the estimate the final price?

It's a range, and it's usually right. We confirm the exact figure before your first visit. If we arrive and the home needs materially more work than described, we stop and call you before doing anything that would change the price — we don't hand you a surprise invoice at the end.

3. What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit card, bank transfer, Zelle, and check. Payment is due on the day of service unless you're on a recurring plan with billing arranged in advance.

4. Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Recurring plans have no minimum term. Pause when you travel, skip a visit, or stop entirely — the discount just applies to visits you actually take.

5. Do your cleaners accept tips?

Tips are never expected and never required — our crews are paid properly regardless. If you'd like to leave one, cash or an add to your card payment both work, and it goes to the crew that did your home.

6. Do you charge extra for pets?

Not for having pets. There's an optional heavy pet hair add-on for homes where shedding needs extra time and specialized tools, but plenty of pet households never need it.

Preparing your home

4 questions
1. How should I prepare before the crew arrives?

A few minutes of pickup goes a long way — clearing counters and floors, putting away dishes and food, and moving anything fragile or valuable somewhere safe. Every surface we can reach is a surface we can clean.

You don't need to tidy for us. Just clear the way so the time goes into cleaning rather than sorting.

2. Can I have only certain rooms cleaned?

Yes. Tell us which rooms to focus on or skip entirely — a lot of clients skip a home office or a guest room that never gets used. Pricing still starts from home size, but we'll put the time where you want it.

3. Can I leave special instructions?

Please do. Notes go on your file, not just on one visit — the crew sees them every time. Things worth telling us: which floors need a gentle mop, a surface that scratches, a room to leave alone, a door that sticks, where the dog sleeps.

4. Do I need to secure my pets?

Only if they'd be stressed by strangers, or if they'd bolt out an open door. We're comfortable working around dogs and cats who are comfortable with us. Let us know in advance either way so the crew isn't surprised.

Our team & products

6 questions
1. How many cleaners will you send?

Depends on the home. Most recurring visits get a crew of two; deep cleans and move-outs often get three or four so the job finishes in one stretch. Home helper visits are always one person. We'll tell you the number when we confirm.

2. Will it be the same crew each time?

That's the whole point of a recurring plan. Your crew learns your home, which means fewer instructions and better results over time. If someone's out sick we'll send a replacement who's been briefed on your file, and we'll tell you beforehand.

3. Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?

Yes. Every person entering your home is background-checked, trained, and covered under our liability policy. They're our employees, not contractors pulled from an app.

4. Do you bring your own supplies?

Everything — equipment, cleaners, cloths, vacuums. Nothing needed on your end.

5. Can you use green or fragrance-free products?

Yes. There's a green-products add-on for a plant-based, fragrance-free line — worth it if anyone in the house has allergies, asthma, or you've got small kids crawling on the floors.

6. Can you use my own products instead?

Absolutely, at no charge. Leave them out with a note. This is common with natural stone, sealed hardwood, and specialty finishes where the manufacturer specifies a particular cleaner. We'll follow your instructions but can't warranty results from products we don't know.

Access & scheduling

6 questions
1. Do I need to be home?

No, and most clients aren't. A lockbox code, garage code, or key on file all work. Plenty of people are there for the first visit to meet the crew, then hand over access after that.

2. How does the arrival window work?

We book a two-hour arrival window rather than an exact time, because homes ahead of yours occasionally run long and we'd rather finish those properly than rush out. You'll get a text when the crew is on the way.

3. Will I know when the team is coming and going?

Yes. A text when they're en route, and another when they've finished and locked up. For move-out cleans you also get photos of the finished home.

4. Can I reschedule or cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before your window. Inside 24 hours we may apply a partial fee, because the crew's day is already committed and that slot can't be refilled. Life happens — call us and we'll work it out.

5. What if you can't get in on the day?

If a code doesn't work, a key isn't where it should be, or nobody answers, we'll call and wait a reasonable time. If we still can't get in, it's treated as a late cancellation. Double-check codes after any lock battery change — that's the usual culprit.

6. What if there's no water or power?

We can't clean without both. If utilities are off when we arrive — common on move-out cleans where service was cancelled early — we'll have to reschedule, and it may count as a late cancellation. Confirm utilities stay on through your cleaning date.

Policies & limits

7 questions
1. What isn't included?

We don't handle exterior or second-story windows, carpet shampooing or steam extraction, mold remediation, pest control, biohazard or hoarding cleanup, post-construction debris, or anything requiring a ladder taller than two steps.

If your home needs one of these, tell us when you book. We'd rather refer you to someone who does it properly than send a crew who can't finish.

2. Do you move heavy furniture or appliances?

No. We clean under and around anything light enough to shift safely, but we don't move sofas, beds, refrigerators, or washer-dryers — it's how people get hurt and how floors get gouged. If you move it beforehand, we'll happily clean behind it.

3. Do you guarantee removal of every stain or buildup?

No, and be skeptical of anyone who does. Permanent staining, etched hard-water deposits, sun-faded surfaces, and damage from long-term wear often can't be reversed by cleaning — the surface itself has changed. We'll tell you honestly what we think will and won't come up.

4. Do you clean pet waste?

No. Pet waste and litter boxes need to be handled before we arrive — it's a health and safety line we hold for our crews.

5. Can you refuse a job?

Rarely, but yes. If we arrive to biohazards, infestation, extreme conditions, or an unsafe situation that wasn't disclosed, we may reschedule or decline. Telling us upfront is always better — we've seen a lot, and most things are workable when we can plan for them.

6. What if something gets damaged?

We're insured, and we'll tell you before you notice. If a crew breaks something they report it that day, and we work with you on repair or replacement. Please put genuinely irreplaceable items somewhere we won't be cleaning — insurance covers value, not sentiment.

7. What if I'm not happy with the clean?

Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it at no charge. That's the entire policy — no forms, no debating what was on the checklist, no asking you to prove it.

No matches for that one.
